The sixth graders were the winners of the penny war for juvenile diabetes that was organized by high school junior, Haley Agee! They all enjoyed a pizza party sponsored by Domino’s Pizza! Just over $1300 was raised by students in grades kindergarten through sixth grade!

While 7th graders in Mrs. Stehlik’s class were home for distance learning, they learned how to run the glowforge laser engraver in the IAS Makerspace. Students submitted designs to their Google classroom and Mrs. Stehlik showed them how to import the designs into glowforge software so that they could engrave them onto the wooden bank boxes that they made in the wood shop.
