The PTO created a Survivor Game to celebrate National Teachers' Week. You might see some strange happenings around school, whether it's someone breaking out into a cheer, another person riding a hobby horse, someone else skipping around the school, or any number of silly actions! After three days of fun, we will find out who is the ultimate survivor!

Our Earth Science, Chemistry and AP Environmental science classes toured the Gogebic-Iron Wastewater Treatment Facility with their teachers, Mrs. Jacisin and Mrs. Bissell. This was an exciting opportunity for our students to learn about the processes that remove and treat our wastewater to create safe and disease free effluent and biosolids that can be released back into our environment.

There was a health incident at Luther L. Wright school today that required medical support at approximately 12:30. Ironwood Public Safety, along with Beacon Ambulance, responded quickly to our request for support and have addressed the emergency. The school was in a medical lockdown for approximately 15 minutes while the professionals tended to the incident. All classes continued as scheduled while the incident was resolved.  We are appreciative of the swift attention from our emergency response professionals.
