The Ironwood Area Schools Board of Education is in the process of hiring a new superintendent. The board is soliciting community and staff input on the qualities, experiences, and skills needed in the new superintendent. All residents of the district, all staff, and administration are encouraged to participate in the process.

The Ironwood Area Schools Board of Education will be holding the following two (2) workshops on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 in Study Hall 230 of LLW:

  • IAS Staff only from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The purpose of this first workshop is to give the IAS staff an opportunity for input into the search for a new superintendent.  IAS staff are invited to share their perspectives.

  • Open to the General Public from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The purpose of this second workshop is to give the community an opportunity for input into the search for a new superintendent.  Parents and community members are invited to share their perspectives.
